		<description>I think the only reason that those old green superstructure bridges remain is that most of those freeways were actually the pre-interstate freeways built in the 40&#039;s and 50s (US99,US97,US10), and are still safe enough to not need replacement. I&#039;ve seen a couple places where one direction goes over the old bridge while the other uses a newer standard concrete one, like on SR-18 near Auburn.</description>
