NC DOT decided to open the new road without replacing ANY of the signs on the old road. So, there are two completely different "Blue" 40s in Greensboro now. DOT says it will be 3-4 weeks before they can replace the signs. So my question is WHY DID YOU OPEN THE ROAD? We recently had a basketball tournament here (ACC). 1 in 3 drivers got lost due to NC DOT's pathetic signing. It gets even better. Now that Interstate 73 is signed along Interstate 40 (Painter Boulevard), what is the status of those shields or that proposed routing? There needs to be some clarification on the interstates on this new segment of I-40. It only adds to the confusion to have I-73 shields added.
