Abraham Lincoln Bridge? Shouldn't that name have gone to a bridge in Illinois?

Well, Lincoln was born in Kentucky, so I think it's appropriate. There are still plenty of structures in Illinois to name after Honest Abe also.

There is also one on I-39 in Illinois: http://bridgehunter.com/il/la-salle/illinois-39/

Felt that having a new topic to say it was open would draw attention to it, versus just posting like i did saying it is open in the old one. People would assume it was a project update of a minor level.

All of I-65 in Kentucky, save the section in Louisville which is named after MLK Jr., is named the Abraham Lincoln Expressway.

Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.
