Yikes, wonder if the truck driver was drunk or something  :-/

Interesting that the pickup just kept on driving. I guess they thought that the truck would clear the gantry.

That or they were hoping they could accelerate in front before the truck got there.

Or, alternatively, they just weren't paying any attention whatsoever.

Well, that *was* a nice looking gantry. Uniform sign heights, with an external exit tab... Almost CalTrans without being CalTrans.
