Looks like fun, although IIRC, the TV report said it's over 20 mill to build it.

I am to understand elevated circles are rare.

i suppose it's just a matter of time before Texas builds a 4 or 5 decker traffic circle . . . .

Just looking at the one of the images in the story, or perhaps an image in a connected story, it appears WB Old Cheney Road is getting eliminated.  Looking at the area to the NW of the intersection, I don't see how they would be connected to 14th or Warlick, unless they build a new road.  This appears to be building an elevated roundabout just for the sake of having one.  I could see a roundabout, but not an elevated one.
MORE FUN THAN HUMANLY THOUGHT POSSIBLE

The only one I know of offhand is outside New Orleans, where US 61 meets Causeway Blvd (which ties to the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway)

Just found it!

I wouldn't be surprised if this is incorporated into a new freeway interchange in the US! BTW, these already exist in Europe, right?
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

There's one in Massachusetts, although it only has 3 exits: MA 38/110 in Lowell.

That looks ridiculous. I'm not a fan of multi-lane roundabouts. I just hate them so much.
