Thanks for adding me.  Been out here in the heat since 1994 (this time -- this is my 3rd time living here), but have had family in the Valley since 1960.

A big welcome from a big distance away!

I find the Phoenix Metro Area (Mesa included) to be a beautiful place, and it is growing rapidly. I will see you around on the forums, all the way from the mountains of northwest Georgia!
Now alternating between different highway shields for my avatar - my previous highway shield avatar for the last few years was US 76.

Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.

Hello there, I'm another desert rat on AAroads (notice my username?) from Palm Desert in so CA down the I-10 or former US 99. Nice to meet you too. Mesa is the largest metro suburb in the US - about half a million (490,000) people. And I predict Phoenix will be so big (2-2.2 million), more like 3rd largest city by 2026 or 2030 (unless Houston does get there first, Chicago getting smaller), two major league soccer teams in the future: the Phoenix Rising or Mesa...Mexicanos? Mormons? Saints? or (Copper) Stars? (the AZ state flag). Mesa has one of the oldest LDS church temples.
Get your kicks...on Route 99! Like to turn 66 upside down. The other historic Main street of America.

Welcome from an unfamiliar winter land (in your area, that would be called the "North", or the "Union", or traitorous scum).

It's all fun & games until someone summons Cthulhu and brings about the end of the world.

I also collect traffic lights, road signs, fans, and railroad crossing equipment.

Correct. I inquired a few months ago into changing my numbers here too to match the ones there, but for now they're different between the two boards. The numbers actually have a story behind them.
