KYTC District 1 is using a photo of the Ohio River bridge for their Facebook cover photo, but it looks like it was taken on the Illinois side?

Someone else noticed that, too. Take a good look at the picture. You'll see the high water, which is probably what the cover photo was intended to convey. The Kentucky end of the bridge was inaccessible for about a week during the flooding, because US 51/60/62 was inundated well south of the bridge. The only way to get a photo of the bridge that showed the high river level and the flooding was to use one from the Illinois side.

Besides, the signage is better there, because the intersection is right at the foot of the bridge. There are no corresponding route markers on the Kentucky side.


Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.
