Hello everyone! I am from the southwest suburbs of Chicago. I am pretty young but roads have always interested me.

A little about me: I have been reading maps since I was like 5. People always ask me for direction and find it weird I know where to go so well. I am still in high school. I really like to check out old things and just research about them.

You'll probably find me in the Midwest board the most.

Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.

Welcome from flip-flop Winnipeg!

I was like you when I was younger, having a excellent sense of direction. Now I am a Google Maps and Streetview junkie, constantly looking for cool signs and scenery.

Welcome from faraway Pennsylvania! I'm currently the youngest member on this forum.

Welcome from about 5 hours south-west of you in St. Louis!

It's all fun & games until someone summons Cthulhu and brings about the end of the world.

I also collect traffic lights, road signs, fans, and railroad crossing equipment.

I always like traveling to St. Louis, something about the drive makes me like it. I have had some fun memories in St. Louis like the City Museum.

Thanks guys!

Currently posting from well to your west in Omaha,  welcome to the board!

It's not so weird, but welcome from slightly farther southwest (Joliet).

It's weird how I have never been to Joilet, the closest I have gotten was Lockport, Dellwood park for a XC meet. We just never have the need to go there.

Welcome!

I live in Kansas, but I was born in Joliet and lived in New Lenox till 1990.  Then, from 2000 through 2006, I lived in Wheaton and Carol Stream, while my fiancĂ©e moved to nearby Naperville.

But since we're adding our Chicagoland bona fides I grew up in the NW Suburbs (Schaumburg to be specific) from 1979-1991.
