New Hampshire 9 near Keene.  December 27, 2003.

Maine 9 in Augusta.  August 10, 2014.

How about a province-state route?

QC 243 (I think near Mansonville)

VT 243 near North Troy

And how about a province-province route?

ON 148 in Pembroke

QC 148 at the Ontario-Quebec border

I definitely like the state-province example.  Here's another from New England.

Vermont 8 in Stamford.  February 2, 2002.

Massachusetts 8 in Hinsdale.  October 16, 2007.

Connecticut 8 from I-84.  April 28, 2012.

I'll throw in a bonus from this route: a US 8 error in Dalton, Massachusetts.  November 24, 2001.

QuoteMay 25, 2017: Post a picture with two or more route numbers, then another picture that features a route that is the sum of those two (or more) numbers.

For example, here I have IA-1 and IA-2

Then here, I have IA-3

Now because I have another route (IA-7) in that picture, I can sum those too, for US-10

Yeah. Come up with their own combination of routes. Sorry if that wasn't clear. I was just using my submission as an example of what I meant with the challenge, not as the start of some chain.

paulthemapguy

Does each person post one picture?  Or do we each try to get the largest chain?  I've strung together a chain of 7 photos using what's in my Illinois collection  :D

I meant that every person picks up to three pictures, not based upon any previous submitter, that follow the formula that I used. I didn't realize that I worded it so badly...  :ded:
