I drove to Florida for vacation, and on my way back, I took I-65 through Kentucky. And at mile marker 30, I saw a trumpet interchange is being built, just north of Exit 26 for KY 446 west to US 31-W. Anyone know what this is for?
Apparently I’m a fan of I-69.  Who knew.

It's called the Transpark Connector and is designed for access to an industrial park north of Bowling Green.

Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

I saw some recent satellite shot of the Transpark connector showing the construction progess.

This connector was not partially being built as part of either I-66 or the 'Bowling Green Outer Beltline?  Based on http://transportation.ky.gov/Planning/Planning Studies and Reports/2 Proposed Interstate 66 - Appendix_A.pdf, the connector would appear to be very close to the location at least once considered for the Beltline.
