U.S. Route 5 sign featured on Shell "Drive for Five" card

I was filling up at the local Shell station today and noticed some applications for their five-cents-back program called Drive for Five, which has a card to go along with it. The application displays the card as having an image of a U.S. Route 5 sign on it. So I figured why not snap a picture to show the roadgeeks.

On the West Coast, Shell had better use I-5...LOL!

US 101 is THE backbone of the Pacific coast from Bandon OR to Willits CA.  Industry, tourism and local traffic would be gone or severely crippled without it being in functioning condition in BOTH states.

Can confirm the actual card has the shield on it. No, I won't be posting a picture, for obvious reasons.

Olive Garden must be stopped.  I must stop them.

Don't @ me. Seriously.

DandyDan

This is old news, as my Shell card has always had that on there since 2010.
MORE FUN THAN HUMANLY THOUGHT POSSIBLE

Even on the West Coast, it has a US-5 shield. I don't have a Shell card, but it is advertised at all their stations.

The Nature Boy

The Interstate shield is trademarked by the AASHTO, right? That would seem to preclude Shell from using it.
