You didn't happen to snap any pics of the Nipigon River bridge under construction did you?

I think this would be the Nipigon River bridge, July 17:

(snipped)

Looks like there's some twinning happening there too, at least west of the bridge.

Now the only thing preventing the twinning the 17 from the Manitoba border east is a First nations issue (which is quite fair IMO; they're asking for a simple road into their community, in order to approve the twinning).

Thanks for the pictures.

I'll admit, I'm a sucker for these kind of signs. This was taken on a walking tour of Boston, near the Prudential Building, as I recall.

To me this signals the beginning of the journey going Westward...

Over my Thanksgiving break, I was able to get a few night photos of downtown Boston...

Here's two shot from overpasses over the Mass Pike (I-90). The second one shows the Prudential and the John Hancock Towers with Fenway off to the right.

This one isn't anything too special; just I-90/Mass Pike trailblazer shields with the Prudential and John Hancock Towers in the background.

Here's two I took with the on/off ramps to the Tip O'Neill Tunnel (I-93) in the foreground and the Custom House Tower in the background.

And not a road photo at all, but I wanted to post it anyway because I'm happy with how it turned out.  :D

Beautiful photos. Night time shots are the best!
Life would be boring if we didn't take an offramp every once in a while

@ IAN: Of those Boston photos you took...I think the building on the right in the first picture is for New Balance. The southern extent of that building is still under construction now. I'm fairly certain that Fenway Park is just out of frame with the second picture.

As for the time lapse aspect...how long of an exposure was that set for?

Yep, I remember seeing the building with the New Balance logo on it, so I figured it had to do with them. :)

And all of these pictures were on a 30 second exposure.

Here are a few from my most recent trips:

GA-17 near Guyton, GA

I-16 ENDS, Savannah, GA

Taken from SC/GA 119 over the Savannah River near Cylo, GA. Not really a road photo, but it still turned out really good considering I took it from a moving vehicle.

Corridor Q (Future US-460) in Pike Co, KY

US-460 near Rich Creek, VA

All were taken in the past two months.

While I rarely do road-related photography anymore, sometimes when I take my car on photoshoots I'll get the road in the background. These pictures were from October 2014. I've "fixed" the wheels since then as they were on the wrong side of the car, but that's off topic.

My personal favorite of the group:

This one is more recent, from about a month ago, at 42nd Street and Riverside Drive in Richmond. Riverside is a tricky road to get photos on if you're driving (one has to be mindful of pedestrians and cyclists at all times), so I pulled off onto the side street. Even in 40° weather the road had several cyclists and pedestrians.

I need to do another one of these soon...
