I have a ridiculously large inventory of Ks from Hawaii, but this time I'll use up my last one from Alaska.

I am running low on Ns too, as well as time to replenish my supply, so I'm being selective about playing my remaining ones.

Washington Rd. => Natahoa Court (Falls Church VA):

Natahoa Court → Ascension Street (Des Moines, IA)

Good news: I went out and grabbed a couple more Ns.

Bad news: I forgot that one of them isn't very helpful.

I've exhausted all the N's in Des Moines city limits (are playing numbered streets okay? If so, I can still play Ninth and Nineteenth then), but there's one nearby in Warren County (I mean it's just outside city limits) and I found a bunch about ~10 miles north in Ankeny (I go there three times a week for college), so maybe I'll take a trip to go get some of them after class one day. Once it stops raining, that is. :banghead:

The OP said numbered streets are allowed. Go back to the first page for the rule. I played a sign with "17th Street" and we treated it as though it said "Seventeenth."

I did that for Arlington County, which gives me Ninth St. and Nineteenth St. Alas, the Arlington street grid stops well short of Ninetieth St.

There are both North 9th St. and South 9th St., and ditto for 19th St, all of which are separate and more or less parallel roads in different parts of the county (I only photographed the North ones). There's also both North 9th Road. and North and South 19th Road. Getting those would be pushing it, and I'm not desperate enough to restock my Ns that way. Nor do I feel like going to additional jurisdictions, especially the ones where 1995hoo is scavenging his street sign photos, at least when not watching the hockey playoffs like probably both of us are doing right now.

Seeing as how I'm at Verizon Center as I type this, I might wish I were out taking sign photos.... <sigh>

I spent all of yesterday Ubering a festival in Lafayette. I used my downtime to drive around and collect a bunch of signs, including several N's and three separate W_b's.

New rule:

17. Optional words: Words on the lists below may be included or omitted from the title.

- At the beginning of the name: Titles such as "Dr.", "Honorable," etc where the rest of the name is someone's name.

- At the end of the name: Name suffixes such as "Sr.," "Jr.", etc. The word "memorial."

For example: the name "Dr. Martin L. King Jr. Memorial Way" can be played from D or M, and the next play can start with G, R or L.

Spring Lane ---> Glade Hill Road (Fairfax, Virginia). The sign is in a stupid place because it used to be on the far corner, but it was next to a stop sign and my parents' neighbor complained to the county that it was "too hard to see." So the county came and put the sign IN MY PARENTS' FRONT YARD (their lawn, not the curb strip), which in turn caused them to raise hell and it was then moved across the street.
