What was the weather like when this one was taken? Looks like a hell of a breeze in those palms at that moment.

Just a typical summer day.  No significant weather in the area.

A pretty ugly 210 shield from Lake Charles, LA. But it has the state name!

Three, I believe, for I-215.  Here's Utah's.  Taken on I-80, October 1, 2015.

I also have California's if we get into a jam.

That interchange is now undergoing a major construction project, and I believe that ramp to 215 is now closed. All the signs in that area have been replaced, with signs that have state named Interstate shields.
The only sad part is, the last two button copy signs on I-80 in Utah are now gone. They were on I-80 west just before the I-215 exit.

Also, that’s not I-80, that’s the Foothill Drive ramp to the 215/80 interchange.

Henry

This is the last I-215 to be covered, and my second consecutive SoCal post:

Next up: the I-220s!
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

Trivia: communications satellites usually have 2 of "everything" so that we can remotely switch from failed components to backups. The pair of comms decoders were, of course, the North and South Decoder.
