The Rules Are

1. No hyperlinks to websites with pictures unless Google Images, or Google Maps.

2. If one person puts US Highway 412 down, then it must continue to the next route number, even if it is a few hundred numbers away.

3. Pictures with one shield in it are encouraged, but more than one shield is fine.

4. Generally, if the only pictures you have are ones of the shields hanging in your garage, that's fine.

5. No drawings, website generations, or fake ones of any kind.

6. Shields with numbers like this: http://www.kentuckyroads.com/images/us31ex/03nov28-2_t.jpg ARE allowed, but if one number is E, and another one is N, then it must continue to N before advancing.

Good Luck.
I am inactive for a while now my dudes. Good associating with y'all.

US Highways: 36, 49, 61, 412.

Interstates: 22, 24, 44, 55, 57, 59, 72, 74 (West).

Nowhere in the rules is it mentioned what counts as a valid photo.

What happens when we get to 28?...do we move on to the next available US route (29)?

A US 3 shield on northbound I-93:

I didn't see a rule on how often one could post, and we're only a couple hours away from the 24 hour mark, so I'll post US 4.

It's interesting that all the photos so far are in different states that border each other.

EDIT: One could argue that there should have been a picture of the other US 2, though.

US 6 on I-195 in Rhode Island (another bordering state):

Also managed to get US 1A (but shouldn't it be RI-1A?) in the photo.

US 7 in Vermont?  I think this is how this works?
I assume numbers like 28 and 37-39 will just be skipped over

There are a few US 28 shields in places that should have a SR 28. Same with 37, 38, and 39.

Does US 9W count, or are we skipping letter suffixes?

It's ambiguous.  I'd guess that suffixes are optional normally but required for a route if introduced.  Not exactly the most consistent approach...

Since US 9 only has 9W, I guess it's your choice.

I'll play US 10. But that suffix rule is ambiguous. If one letter is E, then the other letter will be W, not N or S.

Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

Mapmikey

I was tempted to post a picture that had a US 11, US 11E, US 11W, and US 11 TRUCK...

I'll make US 17 my first contribution to this game.  Many choices, but I'll go to the Sanford, Florida, area.  July 1, 2006.
