Title says all what I'm going to do tomorrow and Saturday as part of an organized event. The exact route I'll be walking is approximately the one I've done the most times, either by car, by bus or by train: Zaragoza to Huesca. And all of it in one shot (well, with some stops). I'll start tomorrow at 4 p.m., when it's already dark, and head North. Soon I'll be leaving the city and into the darkness of the countryside, and I hope no creepers will spawn and explode near me. Soon after midnight the sun will rise. I expect to reach my goal by 6 a.m. If it goes well, this may have a longer sequel soon. Wish me luck!

And before anyone asks, all times stated here are EDT as always. For local time (CEST) add six hours.

(well, with some stops)

45 miles / 14 hours ≈ 3.2 mph, and that's nonstop. Are you sure you can take breaks and still make it within 14 hours? (Especially since this seems to be a group event, so your speed is equal to the slowest person's speed. Speed potions won't help here.)

In early March I did a 15 mile walk (also as part of an organized event) in 4:10 with stops, an average of 3.6 mph. Using that, I calculated it would take 12.5 hours to do the entire 45 mile hike, but I decided to allow an extra 1.5 hours due to the lenght of the journey.

Anyway, although it is an organized event (the longest such one entirely in my region) everyone goes at its own pace, as long as they get to the controls before they close. I have until 10 a.m. EDT to reach the finish (18 hours), but I think I could do in 14.
