Being a Megaman fan, the various Rockman anime have naturally appealed to me. I've also in the past watched Azumanga Daioh, Lucky Star, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Haruhi was the most recent anime I watched, but that was back in 2013. I made the mistake of watching the movie before the TV series though - that movie is 2 1/2 hours long and naturally I didn't understand any of the references as I hadn't seen the TV version.

I never watched anime growing up, but my friend suggested I try watching "Fairy Tail" back in the fall, and I really I enjoyed it!

I haven't watched any of it since last year, but this thread reminds me that I should get back into it

My daughter got me into watching Hetalia.

For those who don't know, the Anime has a very interesting concept.  It takes place at a school, and all the nations of the world are represented by students at the school. They also have the name of the country.  Canada is very polite, and he has a bear for a pet, America is his brother, and is kind of a pushy blonde hair guy who sticks his nose in other people's business. He is always mistreating his brother. Italy for some reason is represented by a coward, Germany is always trying to invade something.  The show is quite clever.
