Thanks for the info, bing. My Mom is a 49er fan and she followed her team since Joe Montana appeared in 1981 when the 49ers became a dynasty to win 5 super bowls by 1995. Joe Montana was a three-time SB MVP and he took part in the coin toss, also present was Jerry Rice and Steve Young, and 3 Raider SB MVPs (two titles in Oakland, one in L.A.) one of them Jim Plunkett is a San Jose native and is of Mexican-American descent when in the 1970s when he played, Plunkett became the first Latino sports "superstar". EDIT: Sports historians now include Ted Williams, 1940s Boston Red Sox superstar and first San Diego Padres manager in his hometown to be Latino, because of his Spanish/Mexican mother. The SF 49ers are the "home team" in Levi's stadium and hopefully the Oakland Raiders will also play there in the future.
Get your kicks...on Route 99! Like to turn 66 upside down. The other historic Main street of America.
