Don't be looking for I-444 as it is unsigned in Oklahoma... Next number up in play is I-459!!

formulanone

I-459's western terminus (with the state name mysteriously covered up):

We go from an END I-459 to a BEGIN I-464, northbound in Chesapeake, VA:
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

I've never seen "outer" or "inner" directional signage before. Is that a common practice in some areas?
I think I have seen "Outer" and "Inner" on the Capital Beltway/I-495 before, actually signed on Reassurance Shields...could be wrong, tho. Been a bit since I've driven around DC

An "Inner" example: https://goo.gl/maps/mgikFdEmc6K2

They're all over I-277 in Charlotte, NC, as well. Here's one example. https://goo.gl/maps/7kCBQ1jtGHq

I think I-469 is up next. This is on I-69 in Fort Wayne, IN.

After 469 comes 470. This gantry was unfortunately removed some years ago :ded:

At the moment. I/IL 490 is coming soon

I-594 may come, one day, but even if that road is built, I doubt it will actually be I-594 (the Rt 53 North Extension)

Let's return to Cleveland for the first I-490:

I believe Rochester has the other.
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

Henry

Very well, let's see the other I-490:

Now we're up to I-494...
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

Jim

Here's I-494.  July 31, 2010.

Lots of I-495 instances to cover next.  In addition to the 4 currently signed ones, I hope we can get what was until recently signed as I-495 in North Carolina, and the old I-495 from Maine (which I believe is now just a hidden designation for the Falmouth Spur).
