US 101 is THE backbone of the Pacific coast from Bandon OR to Willits CA.  Industry, tourism and local traffic would be gone or severely crippled without it being in functioning condition in BOTH states.

It's all fun & games until someone summons Cthulhu and brings about the end of the world.

I also collect traffic lights, road signs, fans, and railroad crossing equipment.

This sounds like something the writers at the Onion would concoct!  :)

Before you know it, all of Scandinavia won't exist!

This is one of those times when darling daughter goes to college for that degree in journalism only to exit college with that Bachelor/Masters degree...and see journalism is dead.  They can't get a job at a mainstream newspaper.  They can't get a job at a mainstream magazine.  So they go 'independent', hunt all around the internet for something to write about, and shoots out their story to some really obscure website that has a readership following based on those that use the internet for porn, and sometimes actually read something too, that may also actually pay them money.

Then they hope that no one does research themselves, and finds out that the reddit posts in question were actually from 2014, and have been sitting quietly for years until someone with a college degree is trying to do anything except porn just to earn $100 for their story.

That is why I like this board.  We would Never Ever tolerate people with crazy crackpot conspiracy theories.  It would be two much to deal with.

North Dakota isn't a state! The Moon Landing is fake! Freemasons run the Country!

Conspiracy theories are sometimes offensive, sometimes crazy, sometimes funny.

Now I hope our Reptilian overlord masters doesn't read this message.
Get your kicks...on Route 99! Like to turn 66 upside down. The other historic Main street of America.

If I recall correctly, he did it to demonstrate how people will fall for the most insane conspiracy fantasies.

One of my favorite podcasts, Skeptoid, did a show on this recently...

I'm never wrong, just wildly inaccurate.

It already doesn't exist for me in a certain social network blocked there .

I also enjoy pretending Teruel, the smallest provincial capital in Spain, doesn't exist. This is derived from a campaign the people of Teruel started about 20 years ago stating that "Teruel exists". And of course it exists, otherwise I wouldn't have driven all the way there in mid June.
Supporter of the construction of several running gags, including I-366 with a speed limit of 85 mph (137 km/h) and the Hypotenuse.

Please note that I may mention "invalid" FM channels, i.e. ending in an even number or down to 87.5. These are valid in Europe.

The Moon Landing is fake!

The moon landing was not fake!  If it had been, we'd never have obtained this final definitive proof of the flatness of the earth.

I'd like to buy a vowel, Alex.  What is E?

And now that northeast bypass may come to fruition as an x22
