Because NJ always wants us to know how far it is to "Del Water Gap".  From US 46.

Also, the challenge did not require the sign to be a road sign.

You can't make the Challenge for the 23rd, since it's only the 22nd (unless you're off traveling somewhere to the east). Why not just make the Challenge for the 19th, since it's actually available?

There isn't a Challenge posted yet for the 23rd–I think he meant to make that the May 19th Challenge. So you can still post a Challenge that makes sense for these photos (or something else), if you'd like.
