By my count, if we include Future I-295 in North Carolina, we have 8 I-295 instances to cover.  Here's that Future I-295 in NC when it was previously signed from I-95.  Taken August 6, 2005.

Three down, five to go with the DC version of I-295:
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

Henry

We already got the northernmost I-295, so how about the southernmost one?

Halfway done here...now we need VA, DE/NJ, NY and RI/MA.
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

Jim

Here's New York's I-295, this taken from the Hutchinson River Parkway.  September 14, 2007.

I propose we also allow a better Maine example, since the one posted is small and blurred.

Consider it done:

Next up is VA:

Now there are just two left...
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

They're pretty shabby, but I do have some content for Rhode Island's I-295.

I believe the Delaware-NJ I-295 will complete this set.

This is just off NJTP Exit 4.  June 2, 2004.

I believe I-296 and I-305 are both unsigned...does that mean I-310 is next?

You got that right, and here it is:

Don't even bother looking for I-315, so the next number in line, IIRC, is I-335.
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

Henry

Guess we're going to Topeka, KS for I-335:

Yet we're skipping over another unsigned 3di, this time being I-345, so I-355 would be the next signed entry. It looks like there aren't as many routes in the 300s as there are in the 200s and 100s!

At one point, the I-355 BGS on I-55 with the Control City of "Suburbs" was my facebook profile pic...a long time ago

Whether it was IDOT or ISTHA, someone figured out that using "Suburbs" as a Control City, at the intersection of 2 Interstates, in the Outer Southwest Suburbs, was a bad idea. I think the same signs are still up, just with no Control Cities anymore. If memory serves, an article either in the Daily Herald or Chicago Tribune basically roasted the agencies for a completely meaningless Control of "Suburbs"

I know I could find a copy of that same pic elsewhere, but I'll check and see if I can't dig up the one from the mid 2000s...

Henry

We continue with I-355:

Next up: I-359, and I have covered all the Chicagoland 3di's except I-294!
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

Oh, don't get me started.  It blows my mind that IDOT/ISTHA will refuse to use actual suburban places as control cities.  The use of "suburbs" is so stupid I KNOW I'M ALREADY IN THE SUBURBS YA DINGUS lol.  Use the towns near the Interstate junction, just like, idk, every other metro area does?  It's okay to call out Downers Grove, Schaumburg, Bolingbrook, etc.  Just do it lol

Edit:  I realized I have the next number!  I'll choose this photo because I'm trying to watch my weight, if you catch my drift.

I-359, Tuscaloosa.  There are signs posted for I-369 in Texarkana, FYI.
