That's correct, innit? Or have they actually removed the signs?

Signs are gone gone goneski. Even when there were more of them, they were mostly along 510.

OK Google, what happened to MA 109 inside 128?

Google has already brought I-685 to Alabama. Sign is (barely) seen on the under construction Southern Beltway, with the I-685 sign positioned right under the AL-108 sign. Never mind that the beltway isn't even connected to any road yet, IIRC the plan is also to put I-685 on the existing I-85 west of the interchange and move I-85 onto the Beltway for potential westward extension.

190 feet of Google's US 26

The problem is that the US 26 marker is visible from further away.

This error is not expected to last forever.

That used to be US 26. They probably tried to move it but being the Goog cocked it up.

Google now thinks that US-19 Truck here in Pittsburgh is 'US-19 Bypass'. :banghead:

Grand Army of the Republic Highway? This is the intersection of VT 15 and VT 108, not US 6!

Note: A road does exist behind the town name. That is not an error.

That's actually right.  VT 15 is indeed called the Grand Army of the Republic Highway.

Yes, all truck routes seem to be rendered as bypass. At least actual bannered routes is a start...
Mileage-based exit numbering implies the existence of mileage-cringe exit numbering.

Part of US 60 in Louisville, KY is signed along the wrong streets.  It is basically signed along the home stretches of both US 31E and US 31W into each other, but in one place it deviates from US 31W.
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Louisville,+KY/@38.2287794,-85.7858591,15z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x88690b1ab35bd511:0xd4d3b4282071fd32

Where US 60 is on Dixie Highway just east of US 31W is not.  US 60 is concurrent with US 31W.
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

Apparently Google somehow thought NYSDOT decided to sign NY N. Main St through Manchester: http://goo.gl/maps/9ycFK

Google also thinks that NY 19A doesn't exist and there's two NY 19's between Gainesville and Fillmore: http://goo.gl/maps/gT1bD (and this appears to be an isolated issue; US 20A, NY 15A, NY 33A, NY 31F, etc. are all displayed correctly)

According to DOT and Google Traffic, that section is currently closed to traffic and has been since the end of May. Detour is along old NY 17. Google takes stuff off the map if it's a medium to long term closure. There are a few ramps missing in Binghamton (Exit 4) and downtown Columbus, OH (I-71/I-670) for the same reason.

It's still there.  Just have to zoom in.  However, it's flagged as this: "Construction Status: Closed for maintenance".  No idea why.  But happened on July 21st.

cu2010

That section of I-86 is currently closed for major reconstruction...much needed, as the concrete pavement on that segment was in really rough shape, to the point where your ass could start aching after driving over it.

Traffic is currently being detoured along NY417/Business US219.

I wonder why they didn't do lane shifts/closures.  Well, it's R5...

This is with Newark, DE near the Maryland border. The road northeast from the state line up to Christiana Parkway was changed from DE Route 2 to DE Route 279 last fall.

I was on that stretch this past June 17th. There was a DE Route 279 shield soon after the state line, but my picture doesn't show it.

Environmental concerns, allegedly. Apparently with the close proximity of the Allegheny River to the project site (there are a few sections that practically hug the side of the river), they were forced to outright close the entire highway.

Typical NY PR nonsense. More than likely the real reason is "because everyone in Albany is on crack". :pan:

Is there a PR release on this that you can link me to? Need to update OSM and want to have the PR to back up the edit.

I'd like to think that it's because they're trying to limit the amount of time spent doing construction on Seneca land. The road is in pretty crappy shape and they might be doing a full rebuild on both sides, including foundation work (which it certainly needs). With how narrow the ROW is, there really isn't space for anything off of the shoulder. For much of it, one side is the river and the other is a state park.

But, as was mentioned, this is R5. They've been closing down an entire side of NY 33 in Buffalo every night for a month for the mill and fill project. For the NY 400 overlay, they ground up the paint and restriped the road at least three separate times before doing the overlay. Project started in May, half of the overlay zone still isn't done. The I-290 bridge replacement project supposedly started two months ago and they just installed temporary traffic lights for the ramp closures. I would have just done a lane shift, but it's not like old NY 17 can't handle the relatively small amount of traffic that goes through there (except in Salamanca, which is a mess).
