60mph speed limits on parts of HI 200 on Big Island

AFAIK, rhis is the first 60mph speed limit on a non-Interstate in Hawaii. It reflects how much safer the cross-island highway has become after most of it was rebuilt.

Wasn't too long ago that some rental companies forbade you from driving Saddle Road.

Wasn't too long ago that Hawaii was the last state stuck at 55 mph.
