I think this is strictly a short-lived error--if you tried it shortly before you posted, it may have been because the site was taken down for a midnight update.  I tried the portal just now (in Firefox!) and it worked for me.

Bumping this thread... it looks like they've dropped the IE-only restriction. I was able to access documents via Edge without issue.

Edge is just a rebranding of IE.

True, but I tried it on Chrome and it worked as well.
