Sorry if this has already been asked, but who runs this site?

http://roads.billburmaster.com/

Does anyone here know him and/or is he a member of this forum?

I accept and respect your identity as long as it's not dumb shit like "identifying as a vaccinated attack helicopter".

This is a useful tool for finding out about who registered a web address.  This information can be kept private, but if your web address is your name you apparently aren't concerned about privacy.

I have no idea if he's a member of the forum.
I'd like to buy a vowel, Alex.  What is E?

I'm fairly certain he is not a member of this forum.  I've contributed a bunch of photos to his site in the past several years; he is friendly and responsive if you just send him an email.

Another good reason for the use of real names or easily-identifiable user names on forums such as this. There are a whole lot of people with whom I'm friends on Facebook but I have no clue if they are here or not, or even what their user names are if they are here. Conversely, I see a whole lot of unfamiliar names show up in roadgeek friends' feeds and I suspect they are forum members, but hesitate to send them a friend request in case I don't know them from here. I only recently figured out who one person who is friends with a lot of the forum members is, and was able to determine his user ID here.

But yes, Bill Burmaster has run his site for several years and I'm friends with him on Facebook.

Huh.  He lives just a couple miles from me.

EDIT:  Removed identifying information.
I'm never wrong, just wildly inaccurate.

Damn nice set of sites!  I wonder if he ever plans to venture west of the Central Time Zone?  Not too many rail photogs show crossing signals in action before or after a train's passage; back in the day when I did a lot of rail photography, that really never occurred to me, but it certainly illustrates the signal function minus distractions!  Looks like he has a bit of an exclusive niche here.  Also appreciate his focus on junction signage; not too many outside our own Max R. have shown such attention to detail.  I'll have to come back to these sites when time permits!

Always read the URL as "Billbur Master". Don't know why.
