Since there were no wrong-way concurrency groups out there on Flickr, I created one.

Finally created an account for myself.  I have a lot of stuff on there already but I'll be getting pretty much all my good stuff on there eventually since the site seems to retain photos at the original size which is great for web based storage:

Obviously if you follow my posts on AAroads I focus mainly on scenic drives, mountain roads, oddities, and former highway alignments.

I just updated my flickr and completed an array of photos from along US 69 in Oklahoma

Some birthday roadgeekery - a number of friends within the hobby were down for my 40th birthday - so we did a quick roadtrip before the hockey game.

For the last two months now, the Flickr photo editor has been down and supposedly under renovation.  Are they ever going to give the editor back to us??

Added 19 photos of I-70 W Bound in the vicinity of Forristell and Wenzville.  Some are too dark, but some decent at least both covering the interstate in the area. Enjoy!

New photos added after a long while.  It's older pics, but I just cropped them differently.

How do most of you look at Flickr?  On your phone or desktop?

I only take pics of good looking signs. Long live non-reflective button copy!

I had to travel to just north of Chicago for work recently.  Was able to do a nice little three hour loop along I-94, 43, and US 12 one afternoon.

Uploaded some new pics.  and re-uploaded some older pics. As always feedback (good/bad) always encouraged. Here's a sample.

Good question...but maybe your name creation/change hasn't caught up with the server yet.

Mr. Matté

Don't have a flickr account but do occasionally browse the site. I happened to notice that some user uploaded a photo that I took and uploaded to Wikimedia Commons (which I did not publish under public domain) without proper attribution. There's no way I can directly flag the specific photo as a non-user, going to Yahoo's copyright flagging page either requires me to log into my Yahoo account (which doesn't exist) or email them separately. Is there a way a Yahoo user can flag a specific photo as infringement despite not being the original copyright holder?

Can PM me to get specific details. Thanks in advance.

So basically: Your photo was stolen, uploaded to Flickr, given a new license, then uploaded to Wikimedia Commons (with the idea it has a "free" license)?

There are bots and people which upload Flickr photos with the right Creative Commons / Public Domain attributions. You'd have to lodge a complaint with Wikimedia Commons; they would be happy to remove a non-free photo, though I think just getting hold of an administrator would get it swiftly removed (or at least flagged for deletion).

After that, a Flickr user might have the case to to present to a Flickr admin.

I'm semi-active on Wikipedia/Wikimedia Commons, so I can get hold of a administrator about copyright issues if you need so

My original photo was uploaded to Commons (with a CCSA license) and I noticed a user on Flickr copied the photo to Flickr without the proper attribution.

JJBers, PM sent, thanks.

Posting my flickr updates on a separate thread, so you can choose if you want to follow my specific updates or not. That way, if I clutter things up, the only thing I'm cluttering up is my own thread.  Click the link below to go there.
