From the standpoint of driving and road photography, "overcast" is best for me (not just "cloudy", which could mean "partly sunny"). No issues with sun glare, which can be a big problem for me, or with backlit photos should the sun be behind the sign you want to photograph.

Sunny skies can yield the best road photos, if you can plan things to get the right sun angle on what you're trying to photograph. But for those of us who can't plan things that well, and don't really need publication-quality photos, a nice even gray sky works just fine.

As far as I'm concerned, nothing better than a lazy day where I can curl up on the couch (or my bed; blankets and pillows are so cuddly!) and listen to the pouring rain.

As the Carpenters sang a long time ago (and I completely agree), "rainy days and Mondays always get me down".

I do like a good solid snowstorm that I've prepared for and have no reason to venture outside ... so long as there are no medical or other emergencies in my neighborhood which the firetrucks can't reach.

When taking road pictures, overcast is best. Give me a nice snowfall otherwise.

I LOVE SNOW!!! Yes I am shouting, sorry but I really really love love snow  :D! I dont even mind driving in it. When I drove a taxi in Dover, DE in the 70s I worked overtime after a 12 hr shift if it was snowing, b/c alot of other drivers called in sick. It doesnt snow much in Dover so when it did snow I was either out in my own car or the taxi just driivng around enjoying it. Snow at night is magical, streetlights are much brighter b/c of the snows reflectividy, snow on the ground deadens sound so the night is super quiet, wow!!  :spin:

Who voted for rain?

It weren't me, but I know a lot of people here in the Pacific Northwest that love the rain.

Relaxing sound. Makes them feel better about not going outside.

I want seasonal weather. Now, I want days in the 90s. In January, I want snow to fall.  A 90 degree day in November or a 50 degree day in May are just too out of place.

Another vote for snow here! However, I have a different type of weather as favorite when viewing from above :sombrero::
