Hand-drawn 1790 map of Detroit discovered in home

This dates from before Judge Woodward's plan.

QuoteA rare, hand-drawn 1790 map of Detroit has been discovered in a family home in Ontario. The framed 21-by-40-inch map is now part of the University of Michigan's William L. Clements Library collection and shows the city under British rule.
"If you think this has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention." - Ramsay Bolton, "Game of Thrones"

"Symbolic of his struggle against reality." - Reg, "Monty Python's Life of Brian"

Max Rockatansky

Well little bit before even that, you can see the military fortification that was built as an outpost still there.  That would have been when Detroit was part of Quebec also.
