Hi folks...first post here, I hope you like these old signals I've found around the Cincinnati area.
First, a Crouse-Hinds type D in Lockland:
Second, another Crouse-Hinds type D in Norwood, with a newer friend:
Third (and this is where it really starts to get interesting), on the right is another Crouse-Hinds type D in Norwood, but what's that on the left?
Closer inspection reveals it to be an original Crouse-Hinds type T, circa 1922-1928. It has most of its original lettered lenses. It looks like a Darley at first, but in some other close-ups I took I can see Crouse-Hinds written along the bottom of each of the "porthole" flanges. I can't believe this thing is still kicking!
I have a few other angles at my website which deals mostly with streetcars and railroads, but has some a little bit of road related stuff too. http://homepage.mac.com/jjakucyk/Transit1/lights/
