Hi folks...first post here, I hope you like these old signals I've found around the Cincinnati area.

First, a Crouse-Hinds type D in Lockland:

Second, another Crouse-Hinds type D in Norwood, with a newer friend:

Third (and this is where it really starts to get interesting), on the right is another Crouse-Hinds type D in Norwood, but what's that on the left?

Closer inspection reveals it to be an original Crouse-Hinds type T, circa 1922-1928. It has most of its original lettered lenses. It looks like a Darley at first, but in some other close-ups I took I can see Crouse-Hinds written along the bottom of each of the "porthole" flanges. I can't believe this thing is still kicking!

A few years ago I noticed that New Haven, CT is littered with what appear to be a mix of old Eagle and Crouse-Hinds 4-ways that have been retrofitted with LED signal heads.

I haven't been in New Haven for years, but I'm going to assume that if the city went through the trouble of upgrading the signal heads to LED they are still installed throughout the city.

This one has been retrofitted with LED's also. It's tha last remaining 4 Way in Fayetteville, AR

Used to be some really old post mounted 4 Ways in downtown Chicago, but I don't know if they are still there.

I really don't like seeing old vintage 4-way signals get retrofitted with LED's. It totally ruins the value. Here is a nice old vintage Signal Service Corp. (SSC) signal that has LED's in downtown Cohoes:
