There's a few old cast iron signs from the Lebanon Machine Company (of Lebanon, New Hampshire) that are scattered around Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. To my best guess, these signs were produced in the 1910s and 1920s and I suspect that they were color coded by state to some extent. Most of the signs I've seen are in Massachusetts or New Hampshire, I doubt there's any in Rhode Island and I haven't come across any in Maine. There's more of these signs in Massachusetts that I'm aware of, in the Boston area, but I haven't gotten around to photographing them yet.

Middlebury, Connecticut. This is the only such sign that I've come across in the Constitution State.

Mendon, Massachusetts. There's a bunch of old signs in general floating around Mendon.

Hingham, Massachusetts.

Originally in Randolph, Vermont, but now in front of someone's house on VT Route 2A.

Woodstock, Vermont.

Orford, New Hampshire.

Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire.

Bethlehem, New Hampshire.
