I thought I'd mention that in 1967, when the final 2 miles of M-66/M-32 was relocated to junction with US-31 on Charlevoix's outskirts, the Archway Motel (no longer there) was on the corner, and I remember the motel's owner believed M-32 was originally designated on the proposed route, and that it was cosigned with M-66 when the new 2 mile stretch was completed. Don't know where he got that idea, but I didn't want him to get upset, so I didn't want to argue with him.

I should add that part of this proposed M-32 extention is designated The Breezeway to encourage motorists to see sights and scenery. Here's it's website:http://ridethebreezeway.com

Also, here's a photo I found on the following website showing the intersection where the proposed M-32 extention heads for Ellsworth and Atwood:http://www.state-ends.com/michigan/m32/m32-w.JPG
