A folded-diamond interchange (Exit 130) joins U.S. 231 with Interstate 10 adjacent to the Bay Lines Railroad. U.S. 231 travels two miles north of Interstate 10 to intersect U.S. 90 (Levy Street) at Cottondale. Southward the US highway reaches Panama City and junction U.S. 98 in 49 miles.
