A cross-state route, Route 33 travels 42.03 miles between Trenton (U.S. 1) and Asbury Park (Route 71). The route sees a freeway portion bypassing Freehold to the south.

 | The former east end of Route 33 (Corlies Avenue) at Route 71 (Main Street) in Ocean Grove. Route 33 was slightly realigned to end opposite Broadway, just to the north of this scene. Route 71 provides the main north-south route between Asbury Park, Ocean Grove, and Bradley Beach. Route 33 links Ocean Grove with the Route 18 freeway and Freehold to the west. 12/23/01 |
