NC 60 extends Georgia Route 60 Spur northeast from Mineral Bluff to U.S. 64 /74 near the settlement of Ranger. With five overall lanes, the state route runs 5.06 miles between Culberson and Stockdale Mountain.

The first shield for NC 60 stands just south of U.S. 64/74 and west of U.S. 19/129. 07/09/10

NC 60 leaves Nantahala National Forest south across the Nottely River. 07/09/10
NC 60 lowers into a valley fed by the South Fork of Rapier Mill Creek ahead of Nichols Road (SR 1599) and Culberson. 07/09/10
NC 60 becomes SR 60 Spur (Murphy Highway) south at the Georgia state line. SR 60 Spur travels 7.5 miles south to SR 60 at Mineral Bluff. 07/09/10
