Alabama Route 159 South
Alabama Route 159 (Main Street) concludes at U.S. 82 south of Downtown Gordo. U.S. 82 is a regionally important highway joining Columbus and Starkville, Mississippi with Northport and Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The highway was four laned from Gordo east toward Coker in 2003. 09/28/03
SR 159 ends at U.S. 82 a mile and a half northwest of SR 86. U.S. 82 will be realigned to bypass Gordo on a new four lane highway by 2022. 09/28/03
