Arizona State Route 564 connects U.S. 160 to Navajo National Monument. The nine mile long road was added to the State Highway System in 1971.

There is a large NPS informational sign at the junction of SR 564 and U.S. 160. 10/25/08

This is the only northbound reassurance marker along SR 564. The next nine miles pass through Navajo Nation lands. 10/25/08

Turnaround space is limited inside the National Monument. Long trailers are not advised. 10/25/08
SR 564 winds above the rim of Tsegi Canyon on the mesa. 10/25/08
SR 564 ends at the southern boundary of Navajo National Monument. The Monument preserves the Betatakin and Keet Seel Ancestral Puebloan ruin sites. 10/25/08
