U.S. 80 U.S. 82 West Alabama Route 21 South
U.S. 80-82/SR 21 (South Boulevard) meet Interstate 65 at a commercialized diamond interchange. Older style trailblazers for I-65 and I-85 here were replaced after 2005. 10/04/01
U.S. 82 turns north alongside I-65 from South Boulevard to Prattville. U.S. 80 joins I-65 south 1.12 miles across Catoma Creek to Selma Highway west. SR 21 remains along South Boulevard west 0.56 miles to U.S. 31 (Mobile Highway) at West Boulevard. 01/16/04
U.S. 82 West
U.S. 82 turns southwest from Cobbs Ford Road to bypass Prattville from a growing commercial corridor west of Interstate 65. Cobbs Ford Road becomes Main Street along the original path of U.S. 82 west from Old Farm Lane South. 10/06/12
Old Farm Lane South stems north from U.S. 82 at Cobbs Ford Road to SR 14 (Fairview Avenue) near its interchange with Interstate 65 (Exit 181). Cobbs Ford Road continues west with commercialized frontage to a crossing of Pine Creek. 10/06/12
U.S. 82 angles southwest across Fay Branch into Autauga County. 10/06/12
McQueen Smith Road intersects U.S. 82 north of its end at U.S. 31 (Memorial Drive). The road serves residential areas of east Prattville and the shopping centers at Cobbs Ford Road. 10/06/12
U.S. 82 bisects cotton fields west from McQueen Smith Road (County Road 75) to U.S. 31, where the highway crosses its original alignment. 10/06/12
Nearing U.S. 31 (Memorial Drive), westbound travelers are directed straight along the original Prattville bypass of U.S. 82. Originally U.S. 31 and 82 combined from Prattville southeast to South Boulevard in Montgomery. 10/06/12
U.S. 31 connects downtown Prattville with Hunter and the industrial west side of Montgomery. U.S. 82 continues west three miles to SR 14 for interests west to Selma. 10/06/12
