U.S. Highway 411

U.S. 411 north
U.S. 411 northbound within the city of Leeds (pop. 10,455). This shield, possibly the first one, is located on Whitmire Street northbound just before the road concludes at Ashville Road. This older style shield is located approximately one mile southwest of the Exit 144 interchange of Interstate 20. Photo taken 09/29/03.
U.S. 411 south
U.S. 411 southbound as it turns from Asheville Road onto Whitmire Street in Leeds. Traffic continuing straight enters Alabama 119, a north-south route through the southern Birmingham suburbs in Shelby County.
