  • California Highways (David Stanek). Like Daniel, David presents all of the California State Routes, with complete histories and interesting facts. You can track the ever-changing routes of California 7 and California 11. (01/05/99)

  • Georgia Highways Page (Steve Williams). Steve's contribution to the road enthusiast community is a page on the highway system of the Peach State. Learn about the 400-series Georgia State Routes, the Fall Line Freeway, GA-515, and GA-520. Future plans include a list and description of U.S. Highways in Georgia.   • The Roads of Metropolitan New York City and Long Island (Steve Anderson). Steve has put together a great history and guide about the interesting yet troubled expressway and parkway system in New York City. He tells us definitively whether I-878 still really exists (with a photograph, no less!), shows us some of the grandiose plans for bridges across the Long Island Sound, and explains the aborted attempts to route I-78 and I-495 freeways across Manhattan. This is a very good site with lots of history and information about yesteryear's Bud Shuster: Robert Moses. (Or is Bud Shuster today's Robert Moses?)
