West Virginia State Secondary 69 acts as the connector between Interstate 68 (Exit 10) and West Virginia State Secondary 857 (Cheat Road). State Secondary 857 is a continuation of the Pennsylvania 857 numbering from Fayette County south to the Ices Ferry Bridge at Cheat Lake. Photo taken 08/07/04.
At present West Virginia State Secondary 857 provides the connection between Interstate 68 and Pennsylvania Turnpike 43 (Mon-Fayette Expressway) via Pennsylvania 857 and Gans Road. Construction is underway on a 4.2-mile extension of Pennsylvania Turnpike 43 south as West Virginia 43 to directly meet Interstate 68 at Exit 10. Photo taken 08/07/04.

West Virginia State Secondary 857 (Cheat Road) southbound at junction West Virginia State Secondary 69. State Secondary 69 provides a connection between Cheat Road and Exit 10 of Interstate 68. The roadway consists of a wide concrete swath between here and Ices Ferry Road. Cheat Road meanwhile continues west to Cheat Lake and the Ices Ferry Bridge. Photos taken 08/07/04.
Interstate 68 West Virginia shields posted at the eastbound on-ramp to the freeway at the Exit 15 diamond interchange. County 73/Branch 12 intersects the freeway within Coopers Rock State Forest. The local roadway turns eastward parallel to Interstate 68 to Bruceton Mills and West Virginia 26 near Exit 23. There is no outlet on the county road south of Interstate 68. Photos taken 10/12/01.
