| Euclid Avenue eastbound sees what is most likely an original
sign bridge for Interstate 381 (Commonwealth Avenue northbound) at the intersection with Virginia 381 & U.S.
11E & 19. Interstate 381 begins a short distance to the left as a 1.67 mile freeway spur between
Commonwealth Avenue (Virginia 381) and Interstate 81. To the right U.S. 11E southbound begins along
Commonwealth Avenue with U.S. 19 & Virginia 381 southbound. A Truck U.S. 11 & 19 northbound also

U.S. 421 southbound turns easterly onto Commonwealth Avenue with U.S. 11E & 19 and Virginia 381 south. The
overlap between the three federal highways only subsists for five blocks as U.S. 421 departs Commonwealth
Avenue for Cumberland Street four blocks north of the Tennessee state line (State Street).
