Beyond their merge east is the Exit 7 partial-cloverleaf interchange with Ohio 128 near Miamitown. Ohio 128 constitutes a north-south route parallel to the Great Miami River from U.S. 50 near Cleves northward to the Butler County seat of Hamilton. A tri-level stack interchange joins Interstates 74 & U.S. 52 with Interstate 275 at Exits 9 / 28 near Miami Station. Interstate 275 continues east 2.75 miles to the split with Ohio 128 (Ronald Reagan Highway) from the left (Exit 9) while Interstate 74 & U.S. 52 split to the right on a southward alignment 1.75 miles to Harrison Pike. Interstate 275 continues 15 miles to junction Interstate 75 at Springdale and 20 miles to the interchange with Interstate 71 at Blue Ash. One quarter mile west of the Exit 14 six-ramp partial cloverleaf interchange with North Bend Road on Interstate 74 & U.S. 52 east. Exit 14 departs Interstate 74 & U.S. 52 east for North Bend Road. North Bend Road heads north 2.6 miles from Harrison Pike to Cheviot Road and east from Cheviot Road to junction U.S. 27 (Colerain Avenue) at the Mount Airy neighborhood of northwest Cincinnati. Meeting the freeway next is U.S. 27 (Colerain Avenue / Beekman Street) near the Cumminsville neighborhood at Exit 18. Photo taken 11/14/04. Exit 18 also provides connections to U.S. 27 Truck (Elmore Street) and to nearby U.S. 127 (Hamilton Avenue). Elmore Street parallels the freeway from Beekman Street east to Colerain Avenue near Spring Grove Avenue. U.S. 27 Truck & 127 Truck follow Spring Grove Avenue south to Camp Washington. Exit 18 provides access to Beekman Street south to the English Woods and Fairmount district and north to U.S. 27 and Colerain Avenue. U.S. 27 follows Colerain Avenue northwest to Mount Airy and the northwest suburbs. U.S. 27 south joins Interstate 75 & U.S. 52 east briefly to the Exit 20 off-ramp to Central Parkway (U.S. 127), opposite the interchange with Interstate 75. Photo taken 11/14/04. Interstate 74 prepares to split into ramps for Interstate 75 north to Dayton and Interstate 75 south & U.S. 52 east to downtown Cincinnati and Lexington, Kentucky. The directional interchange between the two lies along the east banks of the Mill Creek opposite of Cincinnati State and Technical Community College. Photo taken 11/14/04. A formal Interstate 74 end overhead lies ahead of a pedestrian overpass near the Exit 18 directional ramps to U.S. 27 (Beekman Street). Presently Interstate 74 has no connection to the North Carolina version of Interstate 74. It was originally envisioned that the two would connect, but that seems unlikely at this point in time. Interstate 75 north continues through the city to St. Bernard and Elmwood Place before exiting Cincinnati for the northern suburbs of Wyoming, Sharon, and Springdale. Interstate 75 south & U.S. 52 east share pavement briefly through to Camp Washington north of downtown. The two follow independent routes southward into the central business district. The freeway mainline defaults onto Interstate 75 south four miles north of downtown Cincinnati. Truckers are advised caution on the Interstate 75 northbound on-ramp; Interstate 75 continues 3.5 miles to junction Ohio 562 (Norwood Lateral Expressway) and 49 miles to downtown Dayton.
