Interstate 190 is a short spur from Interstate 90 south into downtown Rapid City. It is cosigned for its entirety with U.S. 16. U.S. 16 and Interstate 190 both end at the junction with Interstate 90 north of Rapid City.

Interstate 190 (Northbound)
The first exit along northbound Interstate 190 and eastbound U.S. 16 is Exit 1C, North Street/Civic Center. The freeway facilitates moving traffic from downtown Rapid City north to transcontinental Interstate 90. Continuing north, the next exit is the junction with Interstate 90 (Exits 1A-B).
