Interstates
Eastbound reassurance shield for Interstate 94 posted on the freeway mainline at the Nottingham Road overpass in Detroit. Departing the freeway ahead is the Exit 222B off-ramp to Harper Avenue, a parallel frontage street. Photo taken 11/13/04.
The final westbound shield of Interstate 696 before the freeway ends at junction Interstates 96 & 275 and Michigan 5 in Farmington Hills. The interchange ahead joins five freeways: Interstate 696 east, Michigan 5 north to Walled Lake, Michigan 5 (former Business Spur 96) east to Farmington, Interstate 96 east & 275 south to Livonia, and Interstate 96 west to Novi. U.S. Highways
Exit 83B departs the U.S. 131 southbound freeway in Grand Rapids as a sharp ramp connecting with adjacent Century Avenue near its intersection with Franklin Street. Franklin Street carries Business Spur Interstate 196 from its beginning at Exit 83B to Grandville Avenue south nearby. The business route travels 4.15 miles to Exit 72 of Interstate 196 at Wyoming.
