Interstate 70 Eastbound (Breezewood to Maryland)

Interstate 70 East
Interstate 70 departs the Pennsylvania Turnpike and overlap with Interstate 76 at the community of Breezewood. One of the most infamous stretches of highway to be considered an Interstate exists there as Interstate 70 utilizes a short portion of U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) between the Pennsylvania Turnpike trumpet interchange and actual freeway of I-70. Pictured here is Interstate 70 east & U.S. 30 west on the Lincoln Highway ahead of their split in Breezewood. Photo taken 08/07/04.
