Interstate 95 south
Interstate 95 and Massachusetts 128 converge at the Exit 45 directional interchange at Peabody. Interstate 95 kinks southeast from a parallel alignment of U.S. 1 to join the Yankee Division Highway east of Farm Avenue. Interstate 95 south & Massachusetts 128 west proceed from there a short distance to the directional cloverleaf interchange with U.S. 1 (Broadway) at the Lynnfield Town line. Two lanes depart Interstate 95 south & Massachusetts 128 west onto the Ext 44 ramp to U.S. 1 (Broadway). A short access road connects Exit 44 with a trumpet interchange at U.S. 1 (Newbury Street / Broadway) and nearby Dearborn Road. U.S. 1 south joins Massachusetts 129 along Broadway through south Lynnfield to North Saugus. The Lynnfield Town center lies west on Summer Street at Main Street from Walnut Street's north end. Interstate 95 & Massachusetts 128 (Yankee Division Highway) meet Massachusetts 129 (Main Street) after Exit 41 at the Exit 40 split-diamond interchange in Wakefield. Massachusetts 129 follows Water Street northwest from North Saugus to Main Street in downtown Wakefield. Exit 40 follows quickly onto the roundabout with Massachusetts 129 (Main Street / Salem Street) and Haverhill Street. Massachusetts 129 continues west from Wakefield to both the Reading and Wilmington Town centers.

Exit 38B departs Interstate 95 & Massachusetts 128 south after the Hopkins Street over crossing. Massachusetts 28 (Main Street) travels two miles north to junction Massachusetts 128 in downtown Reading and 14 miles to Lawrence. Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority facilities for interests to the city of Boston are available via the Mishawum Transit Station of Interstate 93 north to Exit 37C. Southbound at the Exit 37A loop ramp onto Interstate 93 south. Interstate 93 comprises a busy freeway southward through Stoneham and Medford, culminating at the Big Dig project of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Once in downtown, Interstate 93 first travels a sleek cable-stayed bridge, the Leonard P.
