Home » Guides » New York » Route 204 - Airport Expressway

NY 204 provides a cut off from Interstate 490 east in the town of Gates to Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC). Measuring 3.35 miles in length, the state route branches east from I-490 along the Airport Expressway to NY 33A (Chili Avenue). Overlapping with NY 33A, NY 204 continues onto Brooks Avenue to the airport passenger terminal and Interstate 390 at Exit 18.

Cancelled due to community opposition,1 the Airport Expressway was originally planned to continue east from NY 33A (Chili Avenue) directly to Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC). A half diamond interchange was built at NY 33A in anticipation of extending Airport Expressway to Interstate 390.
