Northwest Driver continues north to Oates Drive and the Los Altos community of Mesquite. Northwest Drive eventually enters the city of Dallas where it becomes Texas Spur 244 west of Texas 78. Galloway Avenue travels south to Towne Centre Village in Mesquite and north to La Prada Drive at the Dallas city line. An inverted symmetrical stack interchange facilitates the movements between Interstate 30 and Interstate 635 (Exits 56C/B). Interstate 635 follows Lyndon B. Balch Springs is ignored on the Exit 56C overhead for Interstate 635 south. Interstate 635 ends at Interstate 20 in eight miles near its junction with U.S. 175 (Hawn Freeway) in southeast Dallas. Johnson Freeway) leaves Mesquite and straddles the Garland and Dallas city line toward Richardson and Farmers Branch. The commuter freeway is one of the busiest in the Dallas area, especially within the vicinity of the Dallas Hi Five interchange (junction U.S. 75) and the Dallas North Tollway. Interstate 635 next meets Oates Road in north Mesquite. 19 miles separates the junction with Interstate 35E, though it is likely better to remain on Interstate 30 west to Interstaet 35E north in downtown.
