Interstate 110 - El Paso, Texas

Interstate 110 is a short, 0.9 mile interstate that runs from IH-10 and US 54 in El Paso south to the Cordova Port of Entry. The road runs through Chamizal National Memorial, which was disputed land between Mexico and the United States. In 1864, the Rio Grande shifted course further into Mexico, leading to a border dispute that was not settled until 1964. After the dispute was settled, disputed land was turned into a park on both sides of the border.

IH-110 was commissioned in 1967, and completed in 1973. There are no IH-110 shields along the route, and there is only one exit, Paisano Drive (US 62) before reaching the border crossing. Some road maps from the 1970's show IH-110 extending north along the Patriot Freeway (US 54), however this is a map error.
